Mystic is a engineer support element for the main infantry force, responsible for building and maintaining a FOB so has to provide technical support for the platoon as well as frontline entrenchments.
In order to join Mystic, you need to be SCT+ to take the Engineer qualification training and pass the qualification test in order to be an Engineer in Ops.
